Environmental and Occupational Health Science (EOHS) is a branch of public health that studies how the environments where people live, work, and play impact their physical well-being. The core mission of this field is preventative: identifying chemical, biological, and physical hazards in our surroundings and designing systems to eliminate or mitigate them before they cause disease or injury.
